I'm not one to endorse the use of a pod style air kit. I think the single carb converted Vstar 1100 runs better ( www.kjsmotorcycleworks.com ). However that's only my experienced opinion. If you must, Here is what you need to build a top performing air kit.
Build your own pod kit
* (2) K&N RU-0600 filters
* (2) 145 main jets for use with aftermarket exhaust
* (2) 22.5 pilot jets
* (2) 0.020" thick M3 shim washers on each needle
* 2.5-3 turns on the Pilot screw
* (8) M4-.7 pitch socket head screws for the carb bowls because you will likely damage the stock ones when removing them.
* (8) M4 lock washers
* (1) Breather filter UNI filter UP-123

oh and don't forget your pilot thumbscrews if you don't want to use the stock ones. These Mikuni parts will fit out carbs and allow the pilot to be adjusted without the use of tools... look for these Mikuni parts
