Welcome to the
KJS Manifold Section of my site. Here you'll find a bit about the KJS system and how it's work better then I planned.

I'll be updating this as I progress with the installation. About 1 year ago I heard of a kit that would turn a dual carb VStar into a single carb torque monster. Why would I do this? Well, The stock Vstar 1100 is a fine performing bike with fair power. But there is always room for improvement. The biggest down fall about the stock setup is keeping the two carbs in synch. On back roads riding it's not too big of a deal if the carbs come out of synch a bit.. But on the highway, the vibration and wasted gas really bugged me. So, the options where air kits with jetting, etc. They work well, but for me I like to keep things simple and get some performance to boot. The KJS manifold is just the answer. First I posted on the ISRA forum looking for riders that have done the conversion. After emailing five people about there experience with this kit I decided to pursue it. I have yet to speak with one person who has the kit that is not totally thrilled with the results. I called Ken Staples, Head of KJS Motor Cycle Works to ask him questions about this conversion. Ken took over two hours to speak with me regarding this kit and made sure I was educated about this before I made my decision. The manifold will increase the torque over a broader range and increase mid range HP. If you want to run the 1/4 mile with cams, big bore kits, ect... Then this kit is not what you are looking for unless you want to add a flat side carb. Anyway here are some photos of the kit and a light over view.
